Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional patient care across various healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical and patient care, with experience working in diverse environments such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in supporting patients' physical and emotional well-being by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring specialized health support.

Duties

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, ensuring proper documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
Support medication administration under supervision, adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support.
Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and basic life support during emergencies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings like ICU or Level I Trauma Centers to deliver high-quality patient service.
Maintain infection control standards by practicing proper aseptic techniques and adhering to infectious disease protocols.
Support patients in outpatient clinics or post-acute care environments by providing compassionate caregiving tailored to their needs.

Experience

Proven experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in hospital settings, nursing homes, or long-term care facilities.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation.
Experience providing care for individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs within assisted living or community-based settings.
Knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to patient monitoring and basic medical procedures.
Prior exposure to specialized areas such as geriatrics, pediatrics, hospice care, or ICU environments is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments like emergency medicine or urgent care clinics.
Certification in basic life support (BLS) is required; additional certifications such as phlebotomy or DME training are advantageous.
