Line Cook (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Lone Palm Golf Club – Lakeland, FL

Lone Palm Golf Club is seeking dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Line Cooks to join our culinary team. We are currently completing an exciting renovation of our kitchen and dining facilities and are looking to grow our culinary team in preparation for our reopening this fall. We anticipate positions beginning in mid-September.

As a Line Cook, you will prepare high-quality menu items while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, safety, and teamwork. Working alongside our Executive Chef and Sous Chef, you will play an important role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests in a fast-paced, professional kitchen.

Responsibilities

Prepare menu items according to standardized recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
Set up, stock, and maintain assigned workstation before, during, and after service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in accordance with health department standards.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, labeling, dating, and temperature control procedures.
Communicate effectively with the culinary team to ensure timely and accurate service.
Assist with inventory, product rotation (FIFO), and minimizing food waste.
Report equipment issues and help maintain a safe kitchen environment.
Work collaboratively with the culinary team and assist in other areas of the kitchen as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.

Qualifications

A two-year culinary degree and/or a minimum of two years of experience in a restaurant, country club, hotel, or similar culinary environment is preferred.
Previous line cook experience is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
