Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated part time Senior Accountant/Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee comprehensive accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain the integrity of our financial records. Your expertise will drive efficient financial management, support regulatory compliance, and contribute to strategic decision-making. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical accounting knowledge and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Applied Epic
Oversee payroll processing, contributions to the 401k, tracking FSA contributions and spending.
File secretary of state’s annual report
Journal entry the payroll and credit card expenses
Month End Closings
Manage Accounts Payable.

Skills

Experience with corporate accounting principles including GAAP, accrual accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, and technical accounting concepts
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, financial analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation accurately
Strong understanding of debits & credits, journal entries, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data for strategic decision-making
Patience with a new accounting system

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
