Full Job Description

Growing construction and service-based companies in the Augusta area are seeking a highly organized, proactive Office & Operations Manager to oversee daily administrative, logistics, procurement, and bookkeeping functions.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and can manage many moving parts simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

The position supports two growing companies operating in commercial construction and specialty installations.

Responsibilities

Manage procurement and purchase orders
Track material orders, shipments, and deliveries
Coordinate logistics between vendors, subcontractors, warehouses, and field teams
Support project documentation including submittals, closeouts, and compliance paperwork
Assist with invoicing, receivables, and bookkeeping functions
Enter and code expenses in QuickBooks
Maintain organized project and accounting records
Support internal scheduling and operational coordination
Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and team members
Identify issues proactively and help keep projects moving smoothly

Qualifications

Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Experience with QuickBooks required
Construction, logistics, procurement, or operations experience preferred
Excellent communication and follow-through
Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
Detail-oriented and dependable
Proficient with Microsoft Office and spreadsheets
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment
