Overview
A full-time medical office front desk specialist is needed for our practice. Responsibilities include greeting patients and families, collecting co-pays, updating and verifying insurance information, scheduling appointments, copying medical records, answering phone calls, and other duties as assigned. Customer service is the key to being successful in this role. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help maintain efficient clinic operations, support accurate documentation, and uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a caring healthcare environment while sharpening your skills in a medical office environment.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly via multi-line phone systems and in person, ensuring a positive first impression.
Verify patient insurance coverage through insurance verification processes.
Collect and review patient information, update medical records accurately, and ensure proper documentation.
Manage incoming calls professionally with excellent phone etiquette, transferring to the correct department.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
