$37.47 - $58.08 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position: Interventional Procedures Tech, Interventional Radiology
Location: Elmhurst
Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem
Hours: Typically a 6:30 am start
On-Call: Yes
Required Travel: None
What you will need:
Certifications (Required): ARRT, IEMA
Certifications (Preferred): RCIS
Education: 2-year degree in an allied health field from an accredited school or equivalent
CPR: BLS (issued by the American Heart Association), ACLS within 1 year
Experience: Previous Cath Lab experience highly preferred
Skills: Self-motivation, technical skills
What you will do:
Perform a variety of technical and clinical duties which require independent judgment to function as an integrated part of the laboratory team of technicians, nurses and physicians performing diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures
Monitor cardiac rhythm, hemodynamic waveform and provide detailed documentation during routine and complex cardiology procedures
Provide monitoring, during cardiogenic shock, acute MI, and cardiac arrest
Interpret EKG rhythm disorder and hemodynamic abnormalities
Become familiar with EKG and hemodynamic waveform recognition
Maintain responsibility for proper patient records and procedure logs
Charge and complete all required documentation for procedures
