Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Operations Manager (General Manager) to lead our restaurant or hospitality establishment with passion and precision. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong leadership skills, and have a comprehensive understanding of food service management. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management.
Oversee inventory control, food safety protocols, and compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe and clean environment.
Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and reporting.
Train, develop, and motivate team members to uphold service standards, including conducting interviews and performance evaluations.
Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures, shift reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
Implement strategies for food production efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction in both casual dining and fine dining settings.

Skills

Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within the food industry.
Proven management skills with a background in hospitality or restaurant management; supervisory experience is essential.
Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Square POS; adept at troubleshooting technical issues.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally.
Skilled in staff training & development, team management, and fostering a positive work environment.
Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures.
Ability to manage budgets effectively through budgeting experience; proficient in inventory control and food cost analysis.
Experience in catering, banquet operations, bar management or coffee shop environments is a plus.
