We are looking for someone who is interested in learning our unique methods and someone who wants to be a community leader and member alike. For this position, the coach will lead by coaching classes and also by example while participating in other coaches classes as a member (with a free membership).

This is a part-time position that comes with a free membership and a ton of development work. Perfect for that coach looking to join a community that can get them to the next level.

Responsibilities:

- Learn and adopt the specific coaching methods of CrossFit City Limits, so our team of coaches are all helping our members and running classes in a similar way.
- Complete pre-class planning based on the CrossFit City Limits C-NEWS method (Clock, Newbies, Equipment, Weather, Put Yourself in their Shoes) which will be taught to you.
- Build social connections with members and between members.
- Lead CrossFit group classes, ensuring an organized, enjoyable, and safe environment with clear instruction that balances being laid back in warm-ups, cool-downs, at the whiteboard, and in-between workouts, and focused during our high effort moments.
- Help members tailor the class to thier individual goals and needs.
- Motivate and provide individual coaching to every member in the class.
- Demonstrate proper technique and form for various exercises and movements and understand how to scale for different fitness levels and goals.
- Maintain an up-to-date class roster through MindBody registration software.
- Maintain a clean and organized gym.
-Participate as a member in other coaches classes and provide those coaches feedback on their classes.

Experience:
- No previous coaching experience required as we will provide training as long as the person is highly motivated to learn and grow.
- 3 or more years of personal experience with CrossFit methods or similar is required.
- CrossFit Level-1 or higher and CPR/AED will be required, but not to interview.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients of all fitness levels
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others
