Candidate's will be responsible for laying pipelines for water, gas, and other utilities, ensuring that installations are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work in various outdoor environments.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of pipelines and utility systems.
- Excavate trenches using heavy equipment such as bulldozers, front loader trucks, and forklifts.
- Ensure that all pipelines are plumb and aligned correctly during installation.
- Operate heavy equipment safely while adhering to all safety regulations on the construction site.
- Conduct utility locating to avoid existing underground utilities during excavation.
- Collaborate with team members to dig trenches and install pipes according to project specifications.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pipelayer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline installation (water, sewer, storm drain) techniques and utility locating methods.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings related to pipeline projects.
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavator and skid steer.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to completing projects on time and within specifications.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with excavation and installation activities.
- Pipe assembly.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols.
- Knowledge of utilizing pipe lasers for precise pipe alignment
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
