About El Famoso
El Famoso builds the commerce infrastructure behind culture. Based in Central Texas, we partner with artists and brands to manage eCommerce fulfillment, wholesale distribution, international shipping, and customer service.
Our fulfillment operation supports everything from daily direct-to-consumer orders and high-volume product drops to wholesale, retail, tour, and international shipments.
The Role
We're hiring an Operations Manager, Fulfillment to lead one of our two primary outbound functions: eComm Fulfillment or B2B Fulfillment. We are open to candidates whose strongest experience is in either area. The final assignment will be based on the selected candidate's background, strengths, and the needs of the broader operations team.
This is a hands-on warehouse leadership role. You will manage employees, organize daily work, monitor performance, solve problems on the floor, and build reliable processes that help the team ship accurately and on time. You should be equally comfortable coaching employees, working inside a warehouse management system, and stepping into the operation when execution needs support.
You will work closely with Receiving, Inventory & Warehousing, Client Operations, and the other Fulfillment Manager to keep inventory and orders moving through the building without losing accuracy, accountability, or visibility.
What You'll Own
- Lead the day-to-day work of a fulfillment team, including staffing, task assignment, training, coaching, performance management, and follow-through.
- Set clear daily priorities and stay present on the warehouse floor to keep work moving safely, accurately, and on schedule.
- Use the WMS as the operational source of truth and ensure employees follow required scanning, inventory, and order-processing workflows.
- Track productivity, accuracy, turnaround time, backlog, and other operating metrics. Use the results to identify problems and improve performance.
- Plan labor and resources around daily volume, launches, deadlines, wholesale orders, and changing priorities.
- Build and maintain SOPs, training materials, quality controls, and clear ownership across the team.
- Partner with Receiving and Inventory & Warehousing to resolve shortages, discrepancies, location issues, and other blockers.
- Communicate proactively with internal teams about risks, priorities, deadlines, and order status.
Depending on the assigned area, your responsibilities may also include:
- eComm Fulfillment: daily pick/pack operations, high-volume launches and drops, bulk fulfillment, special orders, quality control, and carrier handoff.
- B2B Fulfillment: wholesale and retail orders, routing guides, retailer compliance, EDI workflows, freight, international shipping, commercial documentation, and large-format or tour shipments.
What You BringRequired
- 3+ years of fulfillment, warehouse, logistics, distribution, or related operations experience, including direct responsibility for managing employees.
- Proven experience leading a hands-on warehouse or fulfillment team and holding employees accountable for performance, accuracy, and deadlines.
- Experience in at least one of the following: eCommerce fulfillment or B2B/wholesale fulfillment.
- Experience using a warehouse management system to manage inventory movements, order workflows, and team execution.
- Ability to plan staffing, assign work, monitor output, and adjust quickly when volume or priorities change.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues directly on the warehouse floor.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Comfortable working full-time and on-site at our Mustang Ridge warehouse facility.
Preferred
- Experience across both eCommerce and B2B or wholesale fulfillment.
- Experience with ShipHero or a comparable WMS.
- Experience with retailer compliance, routing guides, EDI, or wholesale order requirements.
- Experience coordinating parcel, freight, or international shipments and preparing commercial documentation.
- Experience in 3PL, apparel, merchandise, music, entertainment, or another deadline-driven fulfillment environment.
- Experience using Monday.com or similar project management software.
- Comfort using AI tools to improve documentation, communication, analysis, or day-to-day productivity.
Why El Famoso
- Work with artists and brands that shape culture.
- Take meaningful ownership of a growing fulfillment operation.
- Build stronger systems, develop employees, and see the direct impact of your work.
- Join a team that values ownership, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
