Compliance Administrator & Office Manager

Now Hiring · East Austin, TX

Real estate moves slow. MODUS does not. As we scale across Austin and Denver, we are looking for the person who keeps the engine clean while the rest of us move fast. You love order. You finish what you start. You make the brokerage run.

Location: East Austin
Schedule: Mon–Fri / 9–5
Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $60K+ DOE

The Compliance Administrator and Office Manager keeps brokerage operations smooth by owning compliance workflows, supporting agents, running brokerage events, and maintaining a productive office. This is the right seat for someone who loves creating order, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and gets things done quickly and accurately. Familiarity with Texas real estate contracts and brokerage processes is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Compliance + Contract Review

Review executed contracts for accuracy and compliance with TREC, MLS, and brokerage standards
Produce CDAs using Paperless Pipeline
Coordinate with title companies, accounting, and agents to manage payments
Maintain documentation accuracy and ensure all required forms are uploaded, complete, and organized
Flag issues proactively and communicate clearly with agents on compliance needs

2. Office Management

Oversee daily office operations to keep a clean, functional, professional workspace
Manage inventory: merch store, office and kitchen supplies, signage, lockboxes, marketing materials, model home inventory, and equipment
Serve as on-site point of contact for vendors, mail, deliveries, window advertisements, visitors, and building management
Coordinate workspace needs for agents, meetings, and team gatherings

3. Agent Support + Onboarding

Onboard new agents and set them up with systems, accounts, and required documentation
Keep an up-to-date command of MODUS resources, platforms, and tools so you can point agents to the right solution
Provide day-to-day support on compliance, process, brokerage offerings, and general questions
Maintain the brokerage resource library and help agents find what they need

4. Event Coordination

Organize and execute brokerage events: trainings, Mindshare sessions, community events, agent socials, and development project gatherings
Run logistics across timing, vendors, catering, invites, RSVPs, and materials
Help conceptualize events that build culture and agent engagement

5. Lease + Brokerage Billing

Manage lease invoicing and coordination with the accounting department
Track payments, issue reminders, and keep accurate brokerage billing records
Support accounting with reconciliations and administrative follow-up as needed

Ideal Candidate

A task king or queen who loves checking boxes and driving projects to completion
Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
Strong understanding of Texas real estate contracts, TREC forms, and brokerage workflows
Familiarity with Paperless Pipeline or similar compliance software is a plus
Comfortable across multiple systems: FollowUpBoss, G Suite, MLS, Canva, and more
Exceptional communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
Thrives in a fast-moving, evolving brokerage environment
Solutions-focused, resourceful, and able to self-manage priorities
A positive, professional presence who represents MODUS culture well
