We are currently seeking a DIETARY MANAGER to join our team!

Are you a passionate and experienced food service leader who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting? Do you have a talent for menu planning, team management, and ensuring top-notch nutrition for residents? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are looking for a dedicated Dietary Manager to oversee the Food and Nutrition Services Department at our Skilled Nursing facility. This leadership role is crucial to ensuring our residents receive delicious, nutritious meals while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Food & Nutrition Leadership:

Oversee meal planning, preparation, and service to meet residents’ needs, preferences, and care plans.
Ensure compliance with therapeutic diets, food safety standards, and state regulations.

Regulatory & Compliance Oversight:

Maintain proper food storage, sanitation, and safety practices to comply with federal and state guidelines.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and QAPI activities related to food and nutrition services.

Team Leadership & Training:

Supervise and support Dietary Aides and Cooks to ensure high-quality meal service.
Develop and implement staff schedules, training programs, and performance evaluations.

Budget & Purchasing Management:

Oversee food and supply purchasing, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality standards.
Monitor and manage the department’s budget while ensuring excellent service delivery.

Resident Care & Engagement:

Work closely with the Registered Dietitianto develop individualized nutrition plans.
Support the Resident Council in addressing food preferences and improving meal satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Certified Food Service Manager, or equivalent certification.
2+ years of experience in food service management, preferably in a long-term care setting.
Strong knowledge of dietary regulations, food safety, and therapeutic diets.
Leadership experience managing kitchen staff, schedules, and budgets.
