Job Posting: Assistant Organizer
Type: W-2 Employee
Starting Pay: $20-$25/hour with growth potential

About Us: At Sorted Sparrow, we transform cluttered homes into beautifully organized spaces for our clients to love and enjoy. We specialize in completing projects quickly with energetic and friendly teams of 2–6 organizers. We are expanding, offering plenty of opportunities to grow along with us.

Role Overview: We have openings for Associate and Assistant Organizers. Associate Organizers handle hands-on organizing tasks, overseeing the sorting, categorizing, and setting up storage solutions. Assistant Organizers play a key role in our projects by assisting with sorting items, labeling, installing shelf liners, light clean up, other related organizing tasks, and transporting donations.

Experience: Must have strong organizing skills—training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently sort through large quantities of items, creating piles for donation, keep, and discard according to clients’ decluttering criteria.
Organizing tasks, including sorting, categorizing, placement, and setting up storage solutions.
Collaborate effectively with the organizing team, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Remain professional, respectful, and courteous when handling clients’ belongings.

Job Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle physical tasks and maintain focus in cluttered environments.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Requirements:

Personal transportation required for travel to client residences
Professional appearance and conduct
Flexibility with work hours and tasks

Why Join Us?

Growth Opportunities: Start at $20/hr and with experience, you’ll be eligible to promote up to Associate/Lead Organizer positions, up to $30/hr.
Flexible Hours: Enjoy work that fits your life. This is a part-time, as-needed position. We will assign shifts normally between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday – Friday.
Team Environment: Work with a passionate and fun team focused on creating order and happiness for our clients.

We will be promoting some assistant organizers to lead organizers. Would you want to eventually lead projects and other organizers? If so, what leadership experience do you have that makes you feel confident?
Please describe why we must have you as part of our Sorted Sparrow team.
When we have clients booked, do the hours of 9:30am - 3pm, M-F work with your availability? Also, some weeks you may have 1 day to work, others 3-4 days, how does that work for you?
Are you able to travel to clients homes in South Austin and surrounding areas?
