Full Job Description

The Personal Injury Paralegal (Litigation) position will be mainly assisting attorneys in personal injury and other civil litigation matters.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys in preparing and e-filing legal documents in various counties near Austin.
Draft correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents in the appropriate format.
Organize and maintain client files, including electronic and physical documents.
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings for attorneys.
Transcribe dictations and prepare accurate written summaries.
Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, photocopying, and scanning.
Utilize document management systems to organize and retrieve files.

Required Experience:

Previous working experience working as a paralegal in PI.
Fluent in Spanish.
Proficiency in using legal software and document management systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Required Skills:

Positive attitude.
Eager to learn.
Sense of urgency.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
Responsibility.

Preferred Experience (not mandatory but a plus):

Foreign language skills.
Experience in immigration removal proceedings.
Experience in litigation drafting and filing.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
