Senior Paralegal Intellectual Property (In-House | Hybrid | Part-Time Contract)
Our client is a premier, publicly traded technology company headquartered in Austin, Texas, with business globally. Their thriving business needs the support of a senior level paralegal with experience in patent and trademarks for a variety of key business initiatives within a stellar legal department. The company is seeking temporary legal support (4-6 months) on a part time basis (20-30 hours per week) to assist its in-house legal team with IP management, trade compliance, philanthropy, and commercial agreements. This key person will work with internal teams and external clients and vendors as well. This is a chance to build deep IP expertise inside a global technology leader while staying broadly engaged across the legal function — no two weeks look the same. The team values curiosity and initiative over a perfect-match resume, and is genuinely invested in developing the right person into the role.
A hybrid work schedule is required, with some time each week in the downtown Austin office and remaining time worked remotely.
Basic Requirements for the Senior Paralegal:
-
Senior level paralegal or legal support experience, ideally in a corporate or in-house setting.

Knowledge of patents and trademarks
-
Proactive attitude to work with a team on a host of different matters and other paralegals and attorneys
-
Experience in import and export trade compliance is a plus but not required
-
A quick learner who can pick up new filing/management systems and adapt to evolving processes.
