Full Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Team in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our clients vibrant, multi-use facilities, which host flea markets, holiday markets, and a variety of other community events. This full-time role requires flexibility, with weekend and evening shifts likely, to accommodate the needs of our event-driven schedule. The Supervisor will be completely hands on and responsible for overseeing four Team Members, ensuring that high standards of cleanliness and professionalism are consistently met. Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Leadership

Under the guidance of the Operations Manager you will lead, train, and supervise a team of 4 Team Members, setting clear expectations while providing ongoing support.
Monitor staff performance, conduct regular check-ins, and provide coaching to maintain high standards of work.

Facility Maintenance

Oversee and participate in routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning.
Ensure restrooms are regularly cleaned, stocked, and well-maintained throughout the day.
Manage trash and recycling collection and disposal, keeping receptacles clean and accessible.
Attend to special cleaning needs before, during, and after events to maintain a welcoming environment.
Perform minor fixes and repairs where skills and resources will allow
Use various equipment such as wetvacs, weedwhackers, leaf blowers, pressure washers, scissor lifts, and more.
Install and take down holiday decorations.

Outdoor Maintenance & Landscaping

Perform seasonal outdoor tasks, such as snow removal and ice management, to keep walkways and entrances safe.
Oversee landscaping duties, including weed control, minor horticultural tasks (such as watering plants), and general upkeep of outdoor spaces.

Client and Customer Interaction

Communicate effectively with vendors, patrons, and property reps to maintain positive relationships.
Conduct daily reporting and interfacing via electronic communication with the client to keep them informed of facility status and address any requests promptly.
Address cleaning and maintenance inquiries courteously, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Administrative & Reporting Duties

Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, coordinate schedules and task assignments for Clean Team Members to align with event requirements and maintenance priorities.
Monitor supply inventory, ensuring the facility is stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
Perform facility inspections daily.
Conduct daily reporting of key statistics and team performance using company-issued devices to ensure data accuracy and efficient tracking of facility needs.
Report facility issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel for timely resolution.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably within janitorial, commercial cleaning, maintenance, and/or landscaping settings.
Customer service experience, with demonstrated skills in addressing inquiries and providing professional support.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact positively with team members, vendors, clients, and patrons.
Handy with tools and equipment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Proficiency in using digital devices and software for reporting purposes.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Availability

Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by the facility's schedule.
