Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Center Manager to lead our sales initiatives and foster strong customer relationships within the automotive industry. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our business development center, manage a high-performing sales team, and drive revenue growth through strategic B2B and B2C sales efforts. Your expertise in automotive sales, negotiation, and customer service will be essential to achieving ambitious sales targets and expanding our market presence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a motivated team, implement innovative sales strategies, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the sales team to ensure achievement of sales targets through effective coaching, motivation, and performance management
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand dealership partnerships and increase passenger car sales in both retail and high-end markets
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, dealerships, and business partners through proactive outreach, cold calling, and personalized communication
Oversee the management of the sales pipeline using CRM software, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, deals, and customer interactions
Conduct negotiations with clients to close deals efficiently while maximizing profitability; utilize excellent phone etiquette and communication skills throughout the process
Implement upselling strategies for automotive financing options and additional services to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue
Manage inventory control, dealership support activities, and ensure compliance with retail math principles for accurate forecasting and inventory management
Organize public speaking engagements or presentations to promote products or services at industry events or dealership meetings
Support outbound sales efforts by developing targeted campaigns that generate new business opportunities in both B2B and B2C channels

Qualifications

Proven experience in automotive industry sales with a focus on passenger cars or high-end vehicles; dealership experience is highly preferred
Strong background in outside sales, B2B sales, deal closing, and negotiation techniques
Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets within a retail or automotive setting
Excellent organizational skills coupled with proficiency in CRM systems (technically supported) for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse client bases
Experience in outbound cold calling, upselling, inventory management, and retail math principles
Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—and professional phone etiquette
Leadership experience in sales team management with a focus on motivating teams toward shared goals
Knowledge of automotive financing options, inventory control processes, and dealership operations is advantageous
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
