Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of ice cream cakes, ensuring each meets quality and presentation standards
- Decorate cakes with intricate cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and edible embellishments
- Package finished products carefully for retail display or customer pickup, maintaining hygiene and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, layering, and portioning ingredients for cake assembly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations
- Handle food products responsibly, following proper food handling procedures to ensure freshness and safety
- Support the overall food production process in a fast-paced environment, contributing to team efficiency and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts is highly preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food handling techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen setting
