About Barons Bus Barons Bus is Ohio's largest motorcoach operator, headquartered in Brook Park with garages in Cleveland, Columbus, and Toledo. Family-owned and operated since 2012, we've grown from 5 buses to 70 — and every single one is a 2023 model or newer. We hold exclusive transportation contracts with seven Ohio universities, run scheduled intercity service, and handle hundreds of charter trips a year for schools, athletic departments, tour groups, churches, and more. We were named Motor Coach Operator of the Year in 2019, and we're still growing.

The Role As a Charter Booking Agent, you are the first voice our customers hear and the person who makes every trip happen. You'll handle inbound quote requests via phone and email, build and price trips in our booking software, coordinate with dispatch and drivers, and manage the full booking lifecycle from first inquiry to final driver paperwork. This is a fast-paced, detail-driven role where accuracy and customer relationships is needed for every trip.

What You'll Do

Take reservations and build quotes for charter groups: schools, athletic teams, tour companies, church groups, and retail clients
Price trips correctly based on pickup locations, destinations, travel times and other factors.
Communicate with customers professionally by phone and email, with a goal of responding within one business hour
Coordinate trip details with our dispatch team and ensure driver paperwork is complete, mapped, and accurate before every departure
Manage active and pending quote follow-ups so no lead goes cold
Work within DOT hours-of-service rules when building multi-day itineraries
Build long-term relationships with repeat clients including university athletic departments and tour agencies

What We're Looking For

Exceptional attention to detail: you catch the wrong date before the customer does
Strong phone presence and customer service instincts
Comfort working in booking or reservation software (we'll train you on our software specifically)
Organized and self-managed: you maintain your own quote pipeline without being reminded
Team player who communicates clearly with dispatch, drivers, and fellow agents
Calm under pressure during peak booking seasons
Prior experience in transportation, travel, hospitality, or sales is a plus but not required
