Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Endocrinologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders related to the endocrine system, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, and hormonal imbalances. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive treatment plans.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate endocrine function and diagnose conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with other specialists, including Podiatrists and Family Medicine practitioners, to provide holistic care.
Perform necessary procedures, including vascular radiography and catheterization when required.
Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Participate in public health initiatives related to endocrine health and disease prevention.

Skills

Proficient in patient assessment techniques and diagnostic procedures.
Knowledge of podiatry principles as they relate to diabetic foot care.
Experience in managing patients in inpatient settings
Familiarity with dementia care practices for patients with cognitive impairments affecting treatment compliance.
Strong understanding of radiography techniques relevant to endocrine assessments.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
