Full Job Description

Vaco Phoenix is seeking an experienced HR Generalist/Benefits Coordinator for a top client in Chandler, AZ. This role will involve managing open enrollment, 401K audits, and benefit administration. The position is a 6–8-week contract position, offering a hybrid work schedule and pays up to $45 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment, eligibility, and ongoing maintenance of benefit plans.
Support 401(k) plan audits by preparing documentation, reconciling records, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
Assist with annual Open Enrollment by coordinating communications, processing elections, and resolving employee benefit inquiries.
Manage Leave of Absence (LOA) administration, including tracking leave requests, maintaining compliance with applicable policies, and coordinating with employees and third-party administrators.
Process and reconcile benefits invoices to ensure accurate billing, timely payments, and resolution of discrepancies.
Conduct benefits-related audits, maintain data integrity across HR systems, and support special projects to improve benefits administration processes and compliance.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of progressive experience in Human Resources, experience strongly preferred
Strong problem solving, reporting, and analytical skills
Experience leveraging MS Office Suite, particularly Power Point and Excel, to present information and influence Leadership
