Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and driven New Sales with Account Managment individual with a history of success in both new sales and account growth in the transportation brokerage space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bringing in new accounts, driving business development, and have existing customer relationships. This role requires strong sales skills, the ability to analyze market trends, and effective communication to foster long-term relationships with clients. The Account Manager will play a crucial role in the growth of our sales initiatives. This is a salary + commission position with starting salary based on experience and any current customer relationships.

Duties

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients while identifying opportunities for account growth.
Conduct cold and warm calling to potential clients to introduce our services and solutions.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop tailored strategies that drive sales.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Lead presentations and meetings with clients to discuss product offerings, updates, and performance metrics.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
Provide ongoing support and communication to clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
Track account performance metrics and prepare reports for management review.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sales or account management.
Not required but preferred at least 2 years experience within the Transportation Brokerage space, whether booking trucks, sales and/or account management.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport with clients.
Ability to analyze market data and trends to inform strategic decisions.
Experience in business development with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools to manage client interactions effectively.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
