Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service across casual, fine dining, or catering settings. The Restaurant Manager will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, managing budgets, and fostering a positive team culture to ensure the success of the restaurant.

Duties

Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness standards
Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure efficient team performance
Oversee inventory control and food management to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
Handle POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing and cash handling
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling and hygiene
Monitor customer service quality, address guest concerns promptly, and enhance overall dining experience
Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes for new team members
Manage shift operations, including opening and closing procedures
Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure smooth food production and delivery
Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to meet business goals
Lead staff training programs focused on hospitality management, food safety, and culinary standards

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments
Strong knowledge of food industry standards including culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen management
Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise
Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising teams and staff training & development
Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis effectively
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
Experience in managing shift operations in a fast-paced setting
Background in food preparation, cooking, catering, or banquet management is advantageous
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards within the hospitality industry
