Full Job Description

CETEC Cereal Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machine Programmer to join our team. This role is responsible for producing high-quality precision components in accordance with engineering drawings and industry standards.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong mechanical aptitude and a thorough understanding of modern CNC equipment and machining practices. Success in this position requires a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, organization, and continuous improvement.

CNC MACHINE PROGRAMMER:

Job Description:

The CNC Machinist, reporting to the Manager of Mechanical Engineering, is responsible for creating and developing CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, as well as setting up and operating CNC equipment to produce high-precision components. This position requires the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, select proper tooling and fixturing, and fine-tune machine settings to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes. The machinist is also responsible for troubleshooting and correcting machining issues, managing tooling and consumables, and performing routine preventive maintenance. A strong knowledge of machining practices and CNC operating procedures is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision components
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Work closely with our engineering department to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Document production runs and report any deviations from specifications

Requirements

Minimum of 3-years of experience as a CNC Machine Operator
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
Proficiency with CNC machine operation and G-code
Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
Basic math and computer skills
Strong problem-solving ability and team-oriented mindset
Experience with Fusion 360 or Mastercam is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Full-time
Yearly Salary – negotiable based on experience
Schedule:
8-hour daily shifts
