Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated mental health professionals to join our growing team at Lartey Wellness Group. We are currently hiring for fully remote, 1099 independent contractor positions for both Licensed Psychologist Supervisors and Psychology Associates.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who value flexible scheduling, collaborative care, and the opportunity to support quality behavioral health services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across Maryland.

About Lartey Wellness Group

Lartey Wellness Group is a growing outpatient mental health practice dedicated to providing high-quality behavioral health services across Maryland.

As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our clinical team and hiring:

Two (2) Licensed Psychologist Supervisors
Two (2) Psychology Associates

Both positions are fully remote, 1099 independent contractor opportunities offering flexible scheduling and professional growth within a supportive clinical environment.

Position Summary

Licensed Psychologist Supervisor

The Licensed Psychologist Supervisor will provide clinical supervision to approximately 1–5 Psychology Associates in accordance with Maryland Board of Examiners of Psychologists requirements and applicable professional standards.

The supervisor will review clinical work, provide guidance on assessment and treatment planning, support ethical decision-making, and assist Psychology Associates in developing their clinical competencies while delivering quality care to clients.

The selected candidate must be eligible for credentialing with Medicaid and commercial insurance plans to support the practice's payer network.

Psychologists with PSYPACT authorization are encouraged to apply.

Psychology Associate

The Psychology Associate will provide psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through telehealth while receiving clinical supervision from a Licensed Psychologist Supervisor.

The Psychology Associate will be responsible for providing evidence-based care, completing clinical documentation, developing treatment plans, and maintaining professional standards while working within Maryland supervision requirements.

Responsibilities

Licensed Psychologist Supervisor

Provide clinical supervision to approximately 1–5 Psychology Associates.
Conduct scheduled supervision sessions in accordance with Maryland Board requirements.
Provide guidance on assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions.
Review clinical documentation and provide constructive feedback.
Support supervisees in developing independent clinical judgment and professional competence.
Maintain accurate supervision records and required documentation.
Collaborate with leadership regarding clinical quality and compliance.
Participate in required onboarding and training.

Psychology Associate

Provide psychotherapy services through secure telehealth platforms.
Complete assessments, treatment planning, progress notes, and clinical documentation.
Deliver ethical, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care.
Participate in required clinical supervision.
Maintain compliance with Maryland Board supervision requirements.
Collaborate with clinical leadership to support quality patient care.

Qualifications

Licensed Psychologist Supervisor

Required

Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
Active, unrestricted Maryland Psychologist License or authorization to practice in Maryland through PSYPACT.
Eligible for credentialing with:
Maryland Medicaid
CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield
Aetna
Cigna
Other commercial insurance panels as needed.
Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
Comfortable providing supervision virtually using secure telehealth platforms.

Preferred

Previous experience providing clinical supervision.
Experience working in outpatient behavioral health settings.
Experience supervising Psychology Associates or early-career clinicians.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Psychology Associate

Required

Active Maryland Psychology Associate license.
Eligible to provide clinical services under supervision.
Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
Comfortable providing telehealth services.

Preferred

Experience working in outpatient behavioral health settings.
Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, or families.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation:

Licensed Psychologist Supervisor (2 Openings)

$85.00 per hour
1099 Independent Contractor
$200 paid onboarding/training
1099 Independent Contractor

Psychology Associate (2 Openings)

$70.00 per intake session
$60.00 per individual therapy session
1099 Independent Contractor
$200 paid onboarding/training
Clinical supervision provided in accordance with Maryland Board requirements.
