POSITION SUMMARY:
This position serves as the Grant and Fiscal Operations Coordinator for the Office of the Local Children’s Board within the Department of Community Resources and Services. The position provides comprehensive administrative, contractual, grants management, and fiscal support to the Office and works collaboratively across multiple program and funding areas. Responsibilities include developing, drafting, coordinating, and maintaining contracts, service agreements, and grant documents; tracking contract timelines, renewals, and compliance requirements; and supporting the administration of multiple grant funding streams for applicants and grantees throughout the grant lifecycle. The position also oversees Office payment processing functions, including the processing and reconciliation of PDQ transactions and invoices through SAP, while ensuring compliance with Department and County financial procedures.
*This grant-funded position. Individuals selected for the position will serve at the pleasure of the appointing authority and may be terminated if the grant funding for the position ends.*
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Performs professional level administrative work, which may include supervisory responsibility, under general supervision from an administrative or technical superior. Work includes carrying out administrative and technical tasks related to administrative support, public information and purchasing.
Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Demonstrated experience working with numbers and in databases.

Proficiency in virtual platforms and use of technology for human service delivery.

Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze and interpret complex budget data.

Proficiency with SAP.

Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well with an ethnically diverse population.

Strong computer proficiency skills, especially with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), database management and spreadsheet applications necessary. Proficiency in virtual platforms and use of technology for human services delivery.
