Salary Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program, preferably pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business, or a related field.
Strong desire to learn and gain hands-on experience in the catering and event industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules.
A proactive attitude and willingness to assist with various tasks as needed.
Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist event staff with setup and breakdown of events, including decor, seating arrangements, and equipment.
Support kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, plating, and garnishing under the guidance of the culinary team.
Provide attentive and friendly service to guests during events, ensuring a positive experience.
Help manage guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
Participate in post-event cleanup and organization.
Gain exposure to various aspects of event management, from logistics to client interaction.
