Position Overview
We are seeking a Product Operations & Testing Coordinator to lead our product testing and safety compliance operations. This role is responsible for ensuring all products meet safety, regulatory, and quality standards while overseeing the end-to-end purchase order process from purchase order through warehouse receipt.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in compliance, vendor management, and product testing, while driving efficiency, cost optimization, and continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Compliance

Oversee all product testing requirements, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards

Coordinate testing submissions, documentation, and approvals with external labs

Approve sampling and testing quotations, ensuring accuracy

Partner with buyers and labs to resolve testing failures and address evolving regulatory requirements

Solely maintain accurate testing records and support ongoing compliance initiatives
Product Operations

Set up new product SKU’s to support Assortment Planning in conjunction with Planners and Buyers

Ensure integrity of product information systemwide, via SKU setup and maintenance

Create, submit, & manage PO’s to supply partners, ensuring production is completed on time. Track open purchase orders, ETDs, and shipment timelines to ensure on-time and accurate delivery
Vendor and Supplier Management

Maintain strong relationships with vendors
Inventory and Data Management

Track sailing and arrival dates and manage import dashboards for visibility

Support inventory planning to meet margin and in-stock objectives
Process Improvement and Strategy

Identify and implement process improvements across item set-up and management

Stay informed on global trade regulations.

Support vendor compliance standards and explore cost-saving initiatives
Qualifications
-
2-4 years of experience in product testing, purchasing, import operations, or supply chain management
- Experience with product testing, compliance, and regulatory standards (CPSC, customs, etc.)

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

Proficiency in ERP systems and reporting tools (SAGE, Salesforce, or similar preferred)

Excellent organizational and project management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
