Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sous Chief OEM. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader with a strong background in food service, hospitality, and culinary management, who can oversee the development, execution, and quality assurance of products. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional team management skills, a deep understanding of the food industry, and a proven track record in supervising complex operations within fine dining, catering, or restaurant environments. Duties

Lead the development and execution of OEM product strategies aligned with company goals and market trends
Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with safety standards
Supervise cross-functional teams involved in menu planning, food preparation, inventory control, and kitchen management
Coordinate with dietary departments to ensure products meet specific dietary requirements and nutritional standards
Oversee inventory management processes to optimize stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in food handling, catering services, and restaurant operations to enhance customer experience

Requirements

Extensive experience in food service management, including banquet experience and fine dining environments
Proven supervising experience leading diverse teams within hospitality or culinary settings
Strong background in dietary department operations and food safety protocols
In-depth knowledge of food production processes, menu planning, and kitchen management techniques
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
Experience in inventory management, inventory control, and food handling practices
Familiarity with catering operations, restaurant management, and shift management procedures
Excellent communication skills paired with a comprehensive understanding of the food industry’s standards and regulations
Culinary experience including cooking, food preparation, bartending skills preferred
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
