Summary :
The Business Insights Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for Northern Light Health’s credentialing software system, providing Super User and administrative support for all related functions. This role supports end users with administrative, functional, and technical needs while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and ongoing maintenance of the health system’s provider database.
In addition, the Specialist acts as a key resource for identifying and evaluating Medical Group performance improvement opportunities through the development, monitoring, and analysis of performance metrics. This role translates data driven insights into actionable recommendations that support improved access and operational excellence. The Business Insights Specialist regularly partners with senior leadership to present findings, inform decision-making, and collaboratively establish sustainable processes for tracking and measuring outcomes throughout the change management process.
Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to, data entry, database management, analysis, report and presentation development, and serving as a liaison between the Medical Group and Northern Light Health analytics teams.
Responsibilities :
Systems Administration and Support
- Serves as the primary point of contact for Northern Light Health’s credentialing software system, providing Super User and administrative support for all related functions.
- Provides credentialing software systems support for database end-users, including troubleshooting and training.
- Assists leadership in maintaining provider database of high integrity and quality.
- Performs data entry and validation to ensure accurate reporting that informs Medical Group decision-making.
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of various systems utilized by the department and suggests methods for improvement.
- Continually strives to achieve individual, team, and departmental goals.
Business Performance Monitoring
- Analyzes data reporting and dashboards to identify trends and opportunities for improved performance.
- Translates data into actionable recommendations for leadership and stakeholder consideration.
- Supports the identification of opportunities, inclusive but not limited to business plan development, operational excellence, and improved patient access.
- Identifies and appropriate escalates areas of concern impacting patient care and the patient experience.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborates with senior leadership to prepare and present findings and recommendations.
- Solicits insights from stakeholders at all levels to ensure recommendations are data driven and locally informed.
- Serves as a liaison between Medical Group and Northern Light Health analytics team.
