Full Job Description

Position Overview

The receptionist provides professional front‑office support. This role serves as the primary point of contact for callers, visitors, and vendors while ensuring that daily administrative operations are conducted with accuracy, efficiency, and discretion. The position requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a polished, dependable presence that reflects the company’s long‑standing family values and commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk and Communication Management — Answer and direct incoming calls, greet visitors, and maintain a courteous and professional environment consistent with the company’s culture.
Mail and Courier Administration — Pick up, sort, and distribute incoming mail; prepare and drop off outgoing mail; coordinate FedEx and other courier services; log all incoming checks into Smartsheet daily to ensure accurate financial tracking.
Supply Management and Inventory Control — Monitor office, breakroom, and bathroom supply levels, place orders, track deliveries, and conduct routine inventory counts while adhering to established monthly budget guidelines.
Administrative and Project Support — Assist management and project teams with special assignments, data entry, document preparation, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Office Coordination — Support the smooth operation of the office by maintaining an orderly workspace and collaborating with staff across departments.

Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with standard office software and equipment
Prior administrative or receptionist experience; construction industry experience preferred
Reliability, integrity, and alignment with a family‑oriented, team‑focused work environment

Work Environment

This role requires consistent front‑desk presence to maintain workflow and ensure all visitors and callers receive timely assistance. Tasks that remove the receptionist from the front desk should be limited and approved by management.
