Job Summary
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine! In this energetic role, you will be vital in preparing high-quality dishes, supporting the kitchen’s smooth operation, and ensuring every plate meets our standards of flavor and presentation. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a lively environment that values teamwork, creativity, and attention to detail. Whether you’re chopping, sautéing, or assembling meals, your contributions will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and setting up stations for service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety standards at all times
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by efficiently executing assigned tasks
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and labeling to prevent contamination
Follow proper knife skills and cooking techniques to produce consistent, high-quality meals
Contribute to menu planning ideas and special event catering preparations when needed

Requirements

Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is preferred but not mandatory
Experience working in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Strong food handling skills with knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
Proven ability in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly with excellent knife skills
Familiarity with food industry standards including catering, serving, and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Enthusiasm for learning new culinary techniques and contributing positively to team efforts
