Full Job Description

Laser North is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to serve as the trusted right hand to our President in Baraga, Michigan. This is a high-trust, high-impact role for someone who is exceptionally organized, confident making decisions, comfortable juggling changing priorities, and always thinking a few steps ahead.

WHAT WE OFFER.

$62,000 – $72,000 annual starting salary.

Full-time position working Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 3:30pm; Friday 6:00am – 10:00am.

WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE.

Time & Priority Protection. Own the President’s calendar end to end—schedule and resequence commitments, resolve conflicts, build in buffer and focus time, and protect what earns his attention. Balance business, personal, family, and community priorities across multiple companies and stakeholders.
Anticipate Needs. Stay one step ahead, making sure the President is prepared for every meeting, call, and site visit with the right agendas, reports, information, and context in hand.
Executive Liaison. Serve as the trusted voice of the executive office, communicating with facility managers, department heads, vendors, customers, and the President’s personal and community contacts with accuracy and professionalism.
Travel Logistics. Coordinate travel between facilities and customer locations, managing itineraries, reservations, changes, delays, and the details that keep travel running smoothly.
Strategic Admin Support. Manage correspondence, draft professional communications, organize confidential documents and information, and keep executive administrative needs moving.
Follow-Through & Accountability. Attend key meetings, capture decisions and action items, and follow up to make sure commitments turn into completed work.
Accounting & Expense Support. Process invoices and bill payments, manage expense reports, and assist with bookkeeping and other accounting tasks as needed.
Make It Happen. Jump in wherever needed. In a growing company, “that’s not my job” isn’t really our thing.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR. You don’t need someone standing over your shoulder telling you what comes next. You figure it out. You bring:

Experience supporting an owner, president, senior executive, or other high-level leader as an Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, Office Manager, or similar role.
At least one year of accounting experience is required.
Exceptional organization and follow-through — details don’t disappear on your watch.
Strong judgment and the confidence to prioritize when everything feels important.
The ability to stay calm, professional, and flexible when plans change.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort working with people at every level, from senior leadership to the production floor.
Absolute discretion with confidential financial, personnel, business, and personal information.
