Job Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Dishwasher/Busser and be a vital part of delivering an exceptional dining experience! In this energetic role, you will ensure the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, support food safety standards, and assist in maintaining a smooth flow of service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while upholding the highest standards of sanitation and safety. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment and contribute to a team that values dedication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, portioning, or assembling ingredients under supervision.
Clear tables promptly by bussing dishes, glassware, and silverware to prepare for the next guests.
Support the kitchen staff by handling manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and moving stock safely.
Maintain cleanliness in all dining and kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly to meet sanitation standards.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers, sinks, and other small appliances.
Follow all food safety management protocols to ensure proper food handling and prevent contamination or health hazards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential!
Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, sanitation standards, and kitchen health and safety protocols.
Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
Basic skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Prior banquet or catering experience is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is key!
