Full Job Description

At Muna Care, we are supporting Kentucky families by providing compassionate, caring home and community-based services. We are an approved provider for the new Kentucky 1915(c) CHILD Waiver (Community Health for Improved Lives and Development), a Medicaid program designed to help children and youth with significant behavioral health or developmental challenges live safely at home, in school, and in their communities. Our mission is to connect families with the support they need to thrive.

Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Marketing & Outreach Coordinator to drive awareness and enrollment for our CHILD Waiver services. This role is not just about advertising; it's about building trust within the community and serving as a bridge between our agency and the families who need us most. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns, building relationships with referral sources, and ensuring families are aware that they can access services like Community Living Supports, Respite, and Clinical Therapeutic Services.

Key Responsibilities

Community Outreach & Relationship Building:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources, including hospitals, psychiatric residential treatment facilities, school districts, pediatricians, and other community partners.
Represent the agency at community events, health fairs, and professional networking meetings to promote our CHILD Waiver services and mission.
Conduct presentations and informational sessions for families, caregivers, and community organizations about the CHILD Waiver program eligibility and benefits.

Strategic Marketing & Advertising:

Create and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and generate referrals for our CHILD Waiver programs.
Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media, website content, and email campaigns, tailored to reach families of children with complex needs.
Design and distribute print materials, such as brochures and flyers, explaining the CHILD Waiver and our service offerings in clear, accessible language.

Family Enrollment Support:

Serve as the initial point of contact for families inquiring about the CHILD Waiver, providing empathetic guidance and information.
Collaborate with the Case Management department to ensure a smooth transition from inquiry to service initiation.

Qualifications

Experience:

2+ years of experience in marketing, outreach, or community relations, preferably within healthcare, social services, or a Medicaid setting.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Skills:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and compassionately.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools (social media, email marketing, CMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with a high level of initiative.

Other Requirements:

Must possess a valid Kentucky Driver’s License and reliable transportation for community travel.
Willingness to undergo background checks as required by Kentucky state regulations.
