Our client is growing fast and needs Cultivation Technicians right now. No cannabis experience? No problem. We will train you. All we ask is that you show up, work hard, and care about doing a good job.
What You'll Actually Be Doing:
- Take Care of the Plants: Check on the cannabis plants every day. Make sure they look healthy and are growing the way they should.
- Trim and Shape: Cut away extra leaves and branches so the plant gets more light and air. This is called “canopy management” — it just means keeping the plant neat and healthy.
- Harvest Time: When the plants are ready, help pick them following simple step-by-step company rules. This keeps the product high quality.
Your Day-to-Day Tasks
- Spot problems early. If a plant looks sick, has bugs, or is missing nutrients, tell your supervisor right away.
- Keep your work area clean. Clean rooms and tools help keep the plants safe and healthy.
- Follow the rules. Every state has laws about growing cannabis — we'll teach you what you need to know.
- Work as a team. You'll work alongside other technicians and support staff every day.
- Help with pest control tasks when needed.
What You Need to Start
- Be 21 years old or older
- Pass a background check
- Be able to get a Registered Agent Card (we'll walk you through this)
- Be OK working somewhere warm, humid, and with a strong plant smell
- Be willing to wear safety gear (gloves, masks, etc.) and follow safety rules
