The Dale is looking for an experienced Pizza Maker and/or Kitchen Lead who wants more than just another kitchen job.
We’re a small, independently owned sourdough pizza restaurant in the Catskills built around food made with integrity, genuine hospitality, and a close-knit team. We work with local farms whenever possible, believe great ingredients speak for themselves, and are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, leads by example, and wants to help build something special.

Responsibilities
- Stretch, top, and bake sourdough pizzas with consistency and attention to detail
- Oversee daily kitchen prep and ensure stations are stocked and organized
- Assist with or manage food ordering, inventory, and product rotation (depending on experience)
- Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and organization
- Help lead the kitchen during service while supporting the team
- Train and mentor kitchen staff as responsibilities grow
- Work closely with ownership to improve systems, recipes, and kitchen operations
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience
- Pizza experience strongly preferred
- Leadership or kitchen management experience is a plus
- Experience with food ordering and inventory management is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Calm under pressure with a positive attitude
- Reliable, hardworking, and dependable
- Available evenings and weekends
