The Role

The Western Regional Sales Manager is responsible overseeing the retail and dealer channel for Buster + Punch in the western United States and specific markets in Canada.  The Sales Manager also is responsible for integration with the North American team, supporting the A+D Community and other B2B channels. The Western Regional Sales Manager must be fully entrenched in the brand and have a deep understanding of the technical and functional aspects of all products and categories brought to market. This is a hand’s-on position where direct training,  presenting,  pitching and selling of the Buster + Punch brand is required.

Responsibilities

Responsible for driving B2B sales in the Western US States and Regions in Canada – with a primary focus on the Retail and Dealer Channels of the business.
Build and maintain relationships with dealer and retailer network, as well as collaborate and integrate with National Accounts.
Support and collaborate with A+D Trade of hospitality and commercial specifiers
Responsible for rolling out new dealer programs with display/merchandising and GTM strategies
Building out the sales organization in an appropriate manner to hit sales targets
Working with digital and brand marketing to build campaigns to drive in new leads and support the requirements of the retail and dealer channels.
Propose and actively manage innovative ways to generate new leads, smooth sales processes and elevate the brand.
Prospect and acquire new clients (dealers, retailers in different verticals) in specific region
Oversee and manage independent sales organizations – establish sales targets and territory objectives – to effectively deliver sales results
Learn and be fluent in all aspects of the B+P brand, product offerings, pricing structures, technical applications of the products.
Be able to train and deliver compelling and inspiring B+P brand and product presentations and conversations.
Service opportunities and follow through – from prospects, to leads, to closing sales
Make in person presentations to current retailers and dealers, prospects, and rep agencies to promote the B+P brand, GTM and
Travel within North America, either independently or with VP / President
Follow up on sales leads from A+D, specifications – to tradeshows and events, as well as new business development opportunities
Review monthly and quarterly sales results, goals and pipeline with North American VP, President
Produce sales budgeting and forecasting for internal team as required for VP of Sales / President
Be available and have attitude to jump in as needed to fix things: including having to travel, be in the trenches and be able to work with all senior team members - to get things done

Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) and ability to learn new software applications and other computer/productivity tools. Familiarity with Netsuite and WooCommerce a plus

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in the sales management and leadership (ideally in luxury home fashion industry)
Must be computer proficient and have ability to learn software systems such as NetSuite
Must be data and reports driven
Ability to deal with difficult situations is a must
Able to work autonomously and make decisions is a must

Education and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
