We are seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team in Bartlesville. This role involves performing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging samples, and maintaining accurate records. The candidate will be responsible for explaining procedures, collecting specimens, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities-
Perform blood draws and label specimens according to established procedures.

Centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test orders.

Explain venipuncture and other specimen collection processes clearly and courteously.

Understand and execute physicians' orders accurately.

Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensure correct labeling.

Package specimens for transport and store samples at required temperatures.

Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations.

Attend annual department training sessions.

Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results.
Essential Skills-
Phlebotomy certification

Experience drawing approximately 50 patients per day

Additional Skills & Qualifications-
High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience

Experience performing high-volume blood draws

Strong attention to detail

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Previous hospital-based phlebotomy experience

Experience working with pediatric and geriatric patients
Work Environment
The position is based in a hospital setting and offers a collaborative and supportive team environment. The work involves a fast-paced laboratory and patient care environment, with approximately 50 patient draws per day. There is an opportunity to gain experience with a nationally recognized laboratory organization.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
