Full Job Description

Sodexo Energy & Resource is seeking a Safety Coordinator to drive a safety culture for an Oil & Gas client in Bartlesville, OK.

This position is responsible for supporting safety management and compliance and ensuring legal compliance with all Federal (Provincial), State, and Local regulations.

About the job

This role offers a chance to champion workplace safety by managing and delivering comprehensive training programs that foster a culture of awareness and continuous improvement. You will play a vital part in ensuring compliance with safety standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to protect employees and enhance operational safety practices.

The role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise. Performs specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, however may collaborate with a team.

Pay Range: $23.50 per hour - $30.41 per hour

What’s in it for you

Oversee daily operations of the safety training program to ensure smooth and effective delivery.
Coordinate and deliver mandatory safety training tailored to company policies and specific site requirements.
Maintain accurate training records, track completion rates, and ensure all documentation complies with regulatory standards.
Support internal safety audits and assist with timely follow-up on corrective actions.
Foster a safety-first mindset through targeted awareness campaigns and regular safety communications.
Partner with operations and HR teams to integrate comprehensive safety orientation into the onboarding process, while staying current on regulatory changes to update training materials accordingly.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to coordinate training sessions and maintain accurate compliance records.
A proactive, solution-focused approach to identifying risks and enhancing workplace safety.
Communication skills, both verbal and written, to deliver engaging training and clear reporting.
Attention to detail in conducting audits, tracking compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education Requirement: High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered
