Job Summary

Steelhaus Bernardsville is seeking high-energy, customer-focused Studio Experience & Sales Associates who thrive in a fast-paced boutique fitness environment. This role is critical to the success of the studio and serves as the first and last impression for every rider.

The Studio Experience & Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality, actively driving membership and retail sales, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are sales-motivated, service-oriented, detail-focused, and excited to grow within a premium fitness brand.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Hospitality

Deliver concierge-level service to all riders, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment
Execute the first-time rider experience, including check-in, studio orientation, follow-up, and relationship building
Communicate professionally with riders in person, by phone, and via email
Resolve basic customer concerns promptly and escalate when appropriate

Sales & Revenue Generation

Actively sell memberships, class packages, retail, and promotional offerings
Meet or exceed individual sales goals and performance expectations
Clearly explain pricing, promotions, and membership benefits
Follow established sales processes to convert leads and close sales
Participate in ongoing sales training and coaching

Studio Cleanliness & Operations

Maintain a consistently clean, organized, and premium studio appearance
Clean and reset lobby, restrooms, cycling studio, and common areas before and after classes
Assist with bike setup, adjustments, and light maintenance as trained
Support opening and closing procedures and daily operational tasks

Team & Community Engagement

Work collaboratively with studio management and ownership
Participate in local marketing initiatives, events, and community outreach
Represent the Steelhaus brand with professionalism, positivity, and enthusiasm

Required Qualifications

Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Sales-driven mindset with motivation to achieve and exceed targets
Genuine passion for hospitality, fitness, and community engagement
Ability to learn and use studio management and CRM software
Proficient computer skills
Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication
Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Ability and willingness to move stationary bikes and perform light physical tasks
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the studio for extended periods
Willingness to perform regular cleaning and resetting duties

Schedule

Part-time hours with morning and/or evening shifts
Non-traditional schedule aligned with class programming
Reliable commute to Bernardsville, NJ 07924 required

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay range: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
