Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Plasma CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, and operating plasma cutting machines to produce precise metal components. Your expertise in blueprint reading, utilizing measuring implements, and industrial equipment troubleshooting will ensure high-quality production standards are met efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative fabrication projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Operate Plasma CNC cutting machines to create accurate parts based on detailed blueprints and mechanical drawings.
Interpret mechanical blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure precise fabrication of parts.
Set up and calibrate CNC machinery, and other industrial equipment.
Conduct routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform adjustments to optimize machine performance and safety standards.
Handle materials efficiently using forklifts and other materials handling tools while adhering to safety protocols.
Perform precision measurements with various measuring implements
Other tasks as assigned

Skills

Proficiency with computers (ex. Microsoft office, Adobe, and General navigation of files)
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, and mechanical blueprint interpretation.
Experience operating various manufacturing equipment such as plasma cutters, press brakes, and welding tools.
Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues quickly and effectively.
Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and measuring instruments (ex. Tape measures).
Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and adherence to OSHA regulations.
Warehouse experience including materials handling, packaging, assembly line work, and fabrication processes.
Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and quality assurance tasks.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including tooling setup, machining operations, welding techniques, and factory workflow management.
