Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized BookKeeper / Office Manager to oversee our office operations and ensure efficient administrative processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial concepts, with experience in managing accounts payable and performing clerical duties. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Manage daily office operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient administrative support.
Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment approvals.
Maintain accurate financial records through double entry bookkeeping practices.
Utilize QuickBooks for tracking financial transactions and generating reports.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with governmental accounting standards.
Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
Handle 10 key typing tasks accurately for data input and financial documentation.
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate effective communication and operational efficiency.
Support budgeting processes by providing necessary financial information and analysis.

Experience

Proven experience as an Bookkeeper / Office Manager or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits.
Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus.
Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
