Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Custom Product Estimator to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our sales and engineering efforts by accurately analyzing project documentation and preparing comprehensive estimates. Your expertise will help ensure our solutions are both cost-effective and tailored to meet our customers' needs, contributing to our company's growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze bid documents, renderings, specifications, floor plans, and other relevant documentation to gather necessary data.
Prepare detailed time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for customer quotes.
Evaluate data to determine the most cost-effective solutions for both the company and the customer.
Collaborate with engineering, sales, and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.
Maintain organized records of estimates and project documentation.
Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements in estimating procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of an Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in estimating, project analysis, or a related role within a manufacturing or construction environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of materials, labor costs, and industry standards.
