Oxbo is a world leader of production and service of specialized agricultural equipment located in Bergen, NY. We are seeking a Technical Writer to support our Production team.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with production and engineering personnel to understand design intent and production document needs
- Reviewing production activities to determine operating procedure
- Reviewing engineering drawings, parts manuals, existing documentation, etc. to produce and maintain controlled production documentation for all departments
- Reviewing existing production instructions/documentation and recommend revisions or changes
- Establishing formal documentation process for various departments (e.g., assembly, weld, etc.)
- Use of CAD, photographs, drawings, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material
- Performing other duties as required.
Education and/or Experience:
Associate’s Degree from college or technical school; or 3-5 :years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience..
Computer/Technical Skills
Proficiency inAdobe InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro DC, CorelDraw, Microsoft Word and Excel, SolidWorks and SolidWorks Composer. Proficiency in using a digital camera required
