Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, multi-point inspections, and brake service
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems
- Use factory diagnostic equipment and computerized repair information
- Complete accurate inspections and recommend needed repairs
- Test drive vehicles before and after repairs when appropriate
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Keep up with Subaru training and evolving vehicle technology
- Deliver quality repairs while providing an exceptional customer experience
Qualifications
- Previous automotive repair experience preferred (professional or hands-on mechanical experience)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
