2 Open Positions – Head Start/Early Head Start - Teacher/Certified Teacher
Ability to adapt curriculum to meet needs of all children including at-risk, special needs, gifted and for a culturally diverse population.
Ability to apply early childhood development theories in daily classroom activities and facilitate appropriate outcomes for individual children.
Maintains accurate written records, including assessments, special education documentation, screening instruments, anecdotal notes, and documents for transition to public school and parent/teacher and home visits; complies with deadlines set by supervisor. Utilize assigned curriculums and supports as prescribed.

Experience working with database systems and tracking systems and a variety of virtual platforms.

High school diploma or equivalent
New York State Certification in Early Childhood or Special Education – Birth to Grade 2 is required within 5 years of hire.

The ideal candidate must have a driver’s license, meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area.
