Full Job Description

Manage and direct programs, services, and staff of the Prosperous Futures Department. Represent and promote Department programs and services to local community. Provide direct services, when applicable.

Ideal skills

Perform supervisory responsibilities with assigned staff, in accordance with Pro Action Personnel Polices and all applicable laws and regulations.
Create and maintain program budgets
Strong computer skills with confident knowledge of Excel Microsoft office and other office equipment.
Ability to exercise independent judgement.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written and oral form.
Communication and language skills to comprehend documents and other correspondence in addition to interacting with a variety of program partners.

Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, psychology or equivalent with experience in a related field of work with 3-5 years' experience in related field of work.

The ideal candidate must have a driver’s license, meeting agency standards and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area. Agency Driver Record History standards information can be obtained by calling Human Resources at 607-776-2125. A background check will be conducted.
