Full Job Description

EFT Outreach Coordinator

Job Overview

We are seeking an onsite EFT Outreach Coordinator to contact employers and remitters currently submitting payments by check and assist them with converting to electronic payment methods. This role focuses on employer outreach, education, follow-up, conversion tracking, and reporting.

The position is located onsite in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Key Responsibilities

Contact employers and remitters that currently submit payments by check.
Identify and reach the appropriate employer contact through phone, email, and other available methods.
Conduct continued follow-up until the appropriate contact is reached or the outreach is otherwise resolved.
Explain the benefits and requirements of electronic payment submission.
Assist employers with:
Registering for ExpertPay.
Establishing EFT payments through electronic file submission.
Track employers through each stage of the conversion process.
Maintain detailed records of:
Employers contacted.
Contact names and information.
Dates and times of outreach.
Information provided.
Follow-up activities.
Final outreach disposition.
Prepare an EFT Outreach Report every six months summarizing contacted employers and outreach results.
Coordinate the distribution of paper and electronic outreach materials to paper remitters.
Make best efforts to contact the top 75 remitters each month and encourage conversion to electronic payments.
Educate and assist customers regarding available electronic payment options.
Deliver marketing or informational presentations when required.
Learn and apply applicable ACH network rules and banking regulations.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in customer outreach, payment processing, banking, collections, financial services, payroll, or a related administrative field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to professionally educate and assist customers.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to track and manage numerous employers through multiple stages of conversion.
Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
Strong computer skills and familiarity with general office systems.
Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to quickly learn ACH requirements, banking regulations, and specialized payment systems.
Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
Ability to work onsite in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree or higher.
Familiarity with ACH or EFT payment processes.
Experience with employer or customer conversion campaigns.
Experience preparing outreach, activity, or performance reports.
Experience using Webex.
Experience working with payroll providers, employers, government agencies, or financial institutions.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
