JOB SUMMARY:
The Security Operations & AI Systems Analyst 2 supports secure, reliable delivery of enterprise applications and infrastructure with a focus on Security Operations, AI agent management/security and python integration. This role helps implement and maintain security controls, monitors and responds to operational threats, supports secure automation pipelines, and assists with AI-enabled workflows under established standards. The position collaborates with developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders to improve system resilience, code quality, and secure software delivery and access.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
40% - Cybersecurity Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure systems, applications, and network architectures.
- Monitor systems for security threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis.
- Develop automated security tools and scripts using Python.
- Support incident response investigations and remediation activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and best practices.
30% - Artificial Intelligence Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI-based systems for software applications.
- Assist in training and testing machine learning models.
- Analyze data and improve AI system performance.
- Debug software issues and optimize applications.
- Stay updated on new AI technologies and industry trends.
20% - Python Development Responsibilities
- Develop scalable backend applications and APIs using Python.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Automate security processes, monitoring, and reporting tasks.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
- Maintain documentation for developed systems and applications.
10% - Other projects as directed by the Assistant Director.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelor's degree
Years of Experience: 1+ years
Specific Experience: Python development. Understanding of machine learning frameworks. Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and frameworks. Understanding of machine learning frameworks
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Master's degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity
Years of Experience: 3+ years
Specific Experience: Knowledge of network security, encryption, authentication, and secure coding practices. Experience with REST APIs, databases, and version control systems.
